• Regional Municipality of Halton While fire, police, paramedics and other responders are on-site, managing a crisis, residents need to be prepared to care for themselves and their family for at least 72 hours. • Nina's Place, Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington
  — The Regional Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Care Centre of Halton


• Ontario Veterinary Medical Association - SafePet Program
  Developed to provide temporary boarding space for pets of women who are seeking refuge in women's shelters.


• Bell Mobility - Women's Shelter Program In Ontario, Bell Mobility partnered with the Ministry of Community and Social Services to provide used mobile phones and free airtime to the women living in shelters.
